Helping relationship therapist

What is a relationship therapist?

First and foremost, a helping therapist accompanies the client in a spirit of openness, listening, acceptance and non-judgment. Among other things, he/she gives the client a chance to find him/herself in a space where he/she feels safe, so that he/she can finally be in relationship.

Of course, your therapist will analyze how you currently function in a relationship and how you perceive yourself. He/she can also identify and name the emotions you are experiencing and the needs you have to be met. Among other things, he/she shows you how you are contributing to your problems, without even realizing it. Likewise, he/she will teach you how to satisfy your own needs in your relationships, whether with yourself or with others, friends or partners. Finally, you'll become aware of your strengths and resources, which you've often underestimated and under-valued.

As you get to know yourself better, your perception of things, people, relationships and yourself will change. From now on, you'll have more control over your life and how you handle situations, reactions and emotions. And you'll be better able to be kind to yourself.
